I have been to Azucar Cuban food at least 8 times by now. It is consistently delicious food. The service is great and they play mostly Salsa over the speakers and the tv. They have tasty sandwiches such as a Cuban, or chicken sandwich. They have ham, chicken and fish croquettes and plenty of other Cuban creole dishes with multiple dessert and sweets options. I highly recommend this Cuban restaurant in a plaza. The two plates pictured were chicken a la milanesa which has chicken breaded topped with tomato sauce, ham and cheese. The other is grilled Corvina fish with boiled yucca with mojo sauce and house salad. Just try it, you won’t be disappointed!

5/17/24: came back to order skirt steak sandwich, beef empanada and chicken empanada and flan for dessert. All yummy as always!
First time here. Had the Chicken de la plancha, yellow rice, sweet plantains. Beef Empanadas. All seasoned well. Good portions. Flan and guava and cream cheese pastry for dessert. All very tasty! Will come back!
Also, there is sit down dining area, ample room, bar, and attached bakery with great selection of homemade and non-homemade baked goods.

Went with some friends to get Cuban/Puerto Rican food and this place was wonderful. The tostones rellenos with the cerdo were amazing! We also loved the Cuban sandwich. The roasted pork is just fabulous. I also recommend the congri and papa rellenos. Very nice stuff and large eating area.

Has the best Cuban sandwich in Cape Coral. They make their own bread which is also delicious and crispy. My hubby doesn’t like mustard so he gets a sandwich called tripleta. Loves it. The tamal is also delicious! Would highly recommend this little out of the way place.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant many times—almost daily—and my experience has consistently been very positive. It’s a simple, family-run place where you can tell they care about both the food and the customers.
Breakfast is always fresh and well prepared. The eggs come out exactly as ordered, the bacon is crispy without being overcooked, and the toast is done just right. The café con leche is actually one of the reasons I keep coming back—well balanced, flavorful, and properly made.
The service is friendly and welcoming, which makes a big difference. It has that neighborhood feel where people know you and take pride in what they do.
Like any restaurant, there can be busy moments, but the quality and consistency have always been there. I highly recommend this place and will continue to support it. When a restaurant is run with care and heart, it shows.

Incredible Cuban cuisine. I've eaten at many, many Cuban restaurants in South Florida and this was quite possibly my best meal. The pork chunks were tender and very flavorful. Beans and rice fantastic. Yucca was cooked just right. This will be a must stop anytime we're in the southwest Florida area. Highly recommend!
